HOPE Coventry

HOPE Coventry enables Coventry churches together to transform the city with the love and power of Jesus Christ. They support projects that connects churches together and help vulnerable people.

Current Projects:

Good Neighbours Coventry: Founded in 2016, this project provides friendship and social activity for older people in Coventry. They offer friendship and support to over 50s who are feeling lonely or isolated. They do “telephone befriending”, “pen pal befriending” and “home befriending visitors”.
Christians Against Poverty: They support people across the city who are struggling to help themselves to become debt free. They also help people to access benefits and sign post to other agencies.
Coventry Prayer House: They aim to be united in prayer across the churches, prayer blessing and being a blessing in the city. As well as this, they aim to be a place of welcome and hospitality for local people and visitors to our city. And finally, they aim to provide a space for retreat and spiritual renewal.
Healing On The Street: They offer prayer for healing or any other need in the City Centre fortnightly on Mondays and on Saturdays. All sessions run from midday until 1:30pm and it is based at the space outside Holy Trinity Church, near to Broadgate and they usually have a team of 6 to 10 from several churches, and we pray in pairs, kneeling while the person receiving prayer sits on the chair.
