Established in 1973, Coventry Cyrenians provide a range of services to homeless and people who live in vulnerable housing throughout Coventry and Warwickshire. Their mission is to provide support and to promote and enhance the lives of people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Also, they provide supported accommodation for single homeless adults across Coventry, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick and most recently, in 2019, they have opened up their 200th accommodation unit within Coventry and Warwickshire. As well as this, over two thirds of the people we see are experiencing mental health challenges and more than one in five are sleeping rough when we accommodate them and over 90% of people leaving our service report improvements in one or more areas of their life. And finally, 1 out of 5 residents that use their service obtains paid employment by the time they move on with many benefiting from Coventry Cyrenians employment and training opportunities.
