What Is Your Story?
For the last few years Radio Plus have shared the All Saints, Allesley carol service so when I started in October 2020 we quickly began planning how we could make this happen again so we could bring Christmas joy to lots of people even though with restrictions it was unlikely the carol service could happen in the building as usual. Through conversations, planning and preparation I got to know Macca who asked me if I would be willing to take on the lunchtime recharge and I was delighted to get involved. I started in April 2021 and have loved the chance to chat, to share and especially to meet the wonderful people of Coventry.
What Genre of Music do they love to listen to?
I love so many different kinds of music. On the recharge I play lots of music that is faith inspired, that lifts up our spirits and brings some encouragement, but it’s a total mix of genre. I love playing upbeat dance music particularly so I can have a dance around the studio!
What do you enjoy most about working in Radio?
I love the community most of all. I love hanging out with the other presenters in the studio and spending time chatting with the beautiful people of Coventry.
What makes you proud to be a Coventrian?
I do love living here in Coventry. I love the diversity of the people, the beautiful history of the place and the unexpected and gorgeous green spaces!
